Zones (Beta Release)
Managing large construction projects can be complex, especially without a structured way to track progress across different areas. Field teams often divide specific areas, levels, or floors into smaller, more manageable sections for better organization.
Our Zones feature makes this process seamless by allowing you to import boundary files or draw zones directly on floor plans, breaking the project down by construction phase, area of interest or specific function. Once zones are clearly marked,
- Track3D automatically calculates and displays progress specific to each section, giving you a detailed view of your project’s development at every level.
- In addition, our new feature lets teams attach notes to each zone, enabling them to pinpoint issues in specific areas. This granular tracking supports smoother work management, fosters collaboration, and ensures that everyone stays informed about progress in each area of the project.
With the Zones feature, you’ll have a clear, organized view of what’s happening in each section, allowing for better oversight and more streamlined project management from start to finish.
Design Overlay in Map
Our new Design Overlay feature lets you superimpose designs directly onto your drone–data Orthomap, providing a clear visual comparison between the planned and current state of the site. Design Overlay enables you to identify any deviations between the design and what’s been constructed, allowing for prompt actions to rectify them. This ensures that you can address issues promptly and keep your project on track, ultimately leading to more efficient and successful construction outcomes.
Notes
Construction teams need an efficient way to share updates tied to specific project locations. Our Notes feature centralizes all comments and updates in one location, directly linked to the project layout. Now, notes can also be added on progress pages, enabling teams to comment on both visual and progress data, enhancing collaboration. With tags and filter options, notes become even more powerful for project teams as they can save time by generating custom reports by tag(s) – such as constraint logs for coordination meetings.
Progress Reports
Keeping project executives and management updated on progress is now easier than ever. With our new feature, you can download visually rich, executive-level progress reports directly from the Track3D platform. These reports are thoughtfully designed for easy sharing with key stakeholders, saving your team the time and effort of preparing detailed updates.
Each report consolidates critical data across all project levels and categories, presenting a clear and comprehensive snapshot of the project’s status.
