February 2025 Product Release

February 2025 Product Release

Empowering Construction Teams with Enhanced Features. In our February product updates and feature releases, we’ve introduced four key updates designed to enhance your project management experience:

  • Progress Onboarding
  • Weekly Capture Report
  • Supporting Additional File Formats
  • Detailed logs on downloads

Let’s get into details of these features and enhancements:

Progress Onboarding [New Feature]

Empowering Users to Take Control of Project Setup

Managing project-specific categories and stages is now easier than ever with the new Progress Onboarding feature. This feature includes:

  • The ability to create, edit, and arrange categories and stages.
  • Options to hide or unhide progress completed categories.
  • The ability to save configurations as reusable templates.

Why It Matters: This feature allows users to customize what needs to be tracked and have complete control over each category within their projects.

Weekly Capture Report [New Feature]

Keeping Teams Informed with Automated Weekly Updates

Staying on top of weekly capture activities has never been easier. With the new Weekly Capture Report, teams receive automated weekly email reports. This report includes:

  • Capture activities by type (360 video, photos, phone images, etc.).
  • Details of who performed the captures.
  • Trends in capture activities over the past four weeks.
  • List of inactive projects: No captures for two straight weeks.

Why It Matters: By offering a structured overview of weekly capture activities, this feature enables teams to assess performance and ensure adequate documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Expanded Support for .dxf Files [Enhancement]

Seamless Integration of DXF Files

Track3D now supports .dxf design file uploads for enhanced compatibility and flexibility. Users can:

  • Upload .dxf files alongside PDFs and DWGs.
  • DXF files are known for its Design overlay functionality.

Why It Matters: It doesn’t limit users to PDFs and DWGs, making the platform more compatible with diverse file formats used by different teams.

Detailed Log on Report Downloads [New Feature]

Enhancing Transparency and Accountability

Tracking report downloads has become seamless with this new feature. Users can now monitor:

  • Who downloaded specific reports.
  • When the reports were accessed.
  • What type of reports were downloaded.

Why It Matters: This feature enhances transparency between different teams by providing visibility into which reports are being accessed and by whom.

The February release reflects our continued focus on addressing user pain points and delivering features that make construction project management more efficient and transparent.
