Construction teams rely on multiple systems to manage designs, issues, and site data. When those systems don’t stay in sync, teams spend more time resolving discrepancies than managing projects.
This release focuses on keeping critical project data aligned. From automatically syncing updated floorplans from Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) to connecting site notes directly to ACC issues, and expanding drone measurement capabilities, here’s what’s new.
1. Auto-Sync Floorplans from Autodesk Construction Cloud
Designs keep changing. When floorplans are updated in Autodesk Construction Cloud, teams need to know immediately. Manual re-imports slow everything down and create gaps in coordination.
Track3D now automatically detects when a floorplan is updated in ACC and replaces it with the latest version. With auto-sync enabled:
- Updated sheets in ACC are reflected in Track3D automatically
- Teams no longer need to manually re-import revised floorplans
- The risk of working from outdated drawings is reduced
- Project stakeholders are notified when a new version is synced
This keeps site visuals, progress tracking, and coordination aligned with the most current design set.
2. Link Track3D Notes to Issues in Autodesk Construction Cloud
Track3D already allows notes to connect with Procore. This release extends that workflow to Autodesk Construction Cloud.
You can now link Track3D notes directly to ACC Issues. Linked notes include key information such as:
- Description and status
- Start and due dates
- Assigned users and watchers
- Issue type
This creates a direct connection between what is happening on site and what is being tracked in ACC. It simplifies coordination and helps ensure issues identified in the field are properly tracked through to resolution.
3. Drone Measurements: Sharing, Comparison, and Reporting
This release adds more control and visibility to drone-based measurements in Track3D.
Control who sees and edits measurements
Measurements can now be set as:
- Private, visible only to the creator
- Shared with selected users or the full project team
Only the creator, assigned users, or admins can edit shared measurements. Existing measurements are private by default.
Compare measurements across dates
In Compare Mode, measurements can now be viewed across orthomaps from different dates.
- Measurements appear on both sides of the comparison
- Measurement details are shown in a single panel for clarity
- Zoom and pan behavior remains consistent across views
This makes it easier to track changes in quantities over time, such as stockpiles, cut and fill, or earthwork progress.
Export measurements as reports
Measurements can now be exported as PDF reports that include:
- A screenshot of the measurement
- Measurement details
- Created by and created on information
- Report generation date
These reports make it easier to share measurement data with stakeholders who are not working directly in Track3D.
These updates are designed to remove friction from everyday workflows. Floorplans stay current without manual effort, site issues are connected to the right tracking systems, and measurement data can be shared and compared with greater precision.
