BIM (Building Information Modeling)

BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a digital, data-rich 3D model of a building’s physical and functional characteristics, shared across the project team.

What is BIM?

Building Information Modeling is the process of creating and managing a data-rich digital model of a building. Beyond 3D geometry, BIM objects carry information — materials, specifications, schedules, costs — making the model a shared source of truth.

How It Works

Designers author discipline models (architectural, structural, MEP) → models are federated and coordinated → clashes are detected and resolved before construction → the model guides construction and is updated to as-built for handover.
