This release focuses on helping project teams spend less time managing information and more time moving work forward. Whether it’s documenting field observations or setting up new projects, construction teams often deal with disconnected workflows, duplicate effort, and unnecessary administrative work before they can focus on the job itself.

With this release, we’re introducing two new capabilities designed to simplify everyday workflows. Annotations help teams communicate issues more clearly by keeping observations, context, and actions connected in one place. One-Click Project Creation helps teams get projects operational faster by using information that already exists in their project management platforms.

Annotations: Turn Site Observations into Action

A superintendent walks the site and spots an issue. They take a photo to document it, send a message to explain what they’re seeing, and create a task so the right trade or team can take action.

The problem is that the same issue now lives in three different places. The photo shows the condition. The message provides context. The task tracks the work. By the time the issue reaches the people responsible for resolving it, they often need to piece together information from multiple tools, ask follow-up questions, or make another site walk just to understand what needs attention.

Annotations help solve this by keeping the observation and its context together. Instead of capturing an issue in one tool, explaining it in another, and tracking it somewhere else, teams can record the observation exactly where it exists and carry that context through the entire workflow.

Annotations can be added directly to reality captures and design sheets, making it easier to communicate exactly what is being observed and where it is located. The context stays attached to the observation, helping everyone involved understand the issue without needing additional explanations or clarification.

When action is needed, the annotation can be attached to a Note with an assignee, priority, and due date. The complete record can then flow directly into Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and other project management workflows without re-entering information.

What used to require a photo, a message, a task, and multiple follow-up conversations can now happen in a single workflow. Field observations stay connected to the context needed to understand and resolve them, helping teams spend less time coordinating and more time getting work done.

One Click Project Creation from Integrations: Get Projects Live Faster

We’re making project setup faster with One-Click Project Creation from Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and Fieldwire. Instead of starting from a blank form, teams can now import existing project information directly into Track3D and get projects operational in just a few clicks.

Project setup is often one of the first steps in getting a job up and running, but it can also be one of the most repetitive. The same project information already exists in the systems teams use every day, yet valuable time is often spent recreating that information before work can begin.

With One-Click Project Creation, Track3D connects directly to your existing project management platforms and uses the information that is already there. Project details such as project name, location, project value, and other available information are automatically pulled from connected systems and pre-populated during setup.

Teams simply review the imported information, complete any remaining fields, and confirm. Within minutes, the project is ready for reality capture, progress tracking, and project visibility workflows.

The result is a faster path from project setup to project visibility. Less time spent on administration. Less duplicate data entry. More time focused on tracking progress, coordinating work, and keeping projects moving forward. Because project teams should be spending time managing projects, not recreating them.
